#Texas bill to ban #DEI work in #highereducation. My heart goes out to the people back home.

Resist. Program. Write. DEI like you've never DEI'd before. https://twitter.com/kateweaverUT/status/1603470651506966529

What are you & your organizations doing to recognize grad students, especially women of color, for labor in DEI work? It can be a fine line between democratically including them in activities and burdening them with problems they did not create. https://twitter.com/rosiejperez/status/1574903732172726275

Was recently asked how I got into academic administration. As I continued to contribute to bodies of knowledge in #Biochemistry, #Photobiology, etc., I became aware of KEY need to contribute to bodies of knowledge AND practice re: more inclusive & ethical #mentoring & #leadership
